NS Public Schools - Learning to End June 5th

Public schools, in Nova Scotia, will be ending formal learning on June 5 2020. Throughout June and the coming summer months, the situation will continue to be assessed for schools to open in September. For additional information on the school closure, the provincial press release is available here: https://novascotia.ca/news/release/?id=20200508005

We know there will be many questions and details yet to be worked out, such as accessing schools and Grade 12 graduations. Please know that more information will be shared as it becomes available.

We know the last number of weeks have been a challenging time. We want to thank you, our parents and guardians, for your support in helping us to provide learning opportunities to students. You have been remarkable, and we appreciate all your support.

We also want to thank our students for their strength and openness to learning at home. We acknowledge these times have been challenging for you as well. We look forward to coming back together as a community when it is safe to do so.

Again, more information will be coming soon. We appreciate your patience and support as we work through how to bring the school year to a close on June 5 while maintaining COVID-19 health protocols.

CEP Update

Students who are interested in applying for the CEP program but did not get a chance to submit an application before March Break can access the application on the Student Services google classroom. Please use code qd72ezk to join.

For now, students should select their eight courses (outside of CEP) until a decision is made regarding entrance into the CEP program.  If you have questions, please contact Mr. Parsons (parsonsa@ccrce.ca).
